The Galley make some delicious desserts, some of which come in little aluminum foil cups...which in my mind, desperately needed to be turned into alien space ships. And so they were.
Attached strings and strung on felt stars, pom pom planets, star beads and weird squiggly plastic pieces from the craft room.
There is a giant star made of sponge material hanging by sparkly pipe cleaners hanging in the middle...
And the four space ships are two dessert cups (cleaned) and hot glued together. I did try to make some little
aliens out of clay, but it didn't work out.
Best of all, this lovely mobile now hangs in the Community Light Room (where we Winterovers go to get some full-spectrum lighting).
It reminds me of something you'd see in an elementary school classroom, but hey, no one ever said that adults can't enjoy some simple arts/crafts too!
