Explorations in Watercolor

The stars alligned (mostly with my bank account) and with my friend LauraSita, I signed up for a Watercolor Class.  Thus far, I have learned that: 1) I have difficulty with restraint, especially when paint is involved, 2) I do not particularly enjoy painting landscapes and 3) (which I already knew) I do not have a natural inclination to follow directions.

Alas, I've managed to pick up a few techniques and churn out a few decent renditions, here are the photos:
